Prices are going up and quality down. Don’t take your dog here for anything non-Routine. Dr. Holt is rude and pressures you into extreme treatment then guilts you if you say you don’t want to put your senior animal through that. They also doubled their exam fee within a year to where now I’d rather pay the additional $50 for an exam at Crown Veterinary Services ER. The only good vet here is Dr. Cook. She is smart and caring; willing to answer all questions. The other vets can’t be bothered to seem like they care. Basically they’ll tell you it’s fine and probably not a concern, but don’t care enough to answer your questions with substance or reassurance. Crown Veterinary services is worth the extra cost for compassionate care. Chipman road has gone downhill, as someone who has been taking my dogs here for 8 years. Will not be going for anything but vaccines. And definitely won’t be letting them put my dog under for surgery, as I know two people whose dogs got infections following a procedure.

Last week we got some blood work done for my 15 year-old sick dog. Vet called me the following Tuesday with the results. I told her I need to speak with my husband and she said if we have any questions, don’t hesitate to give them a call. I went in there that same day to pick up his medicine and left a message asking the vet to return my call. Did not get a call back that day. Nor the following day. Called on Thursday and they said she was busy with surgeries on Wednesday, but that she would call me back. No phone call back. Call back on Friday because he is not doing well and I needed certain questions answered to know what the most humane thing to do for our Dog. They assured me she would call me back after lunch. Here we are going in to a holiday weekend she never called me back today. They are closed and now my dog is gonna have to suffer or we are gonna have to now go to another vet. With it being the weekend and a holiday, I’m sure it will be $$$. I understand that we are not there only client but we are looking at end of life situation and it isn’t something that can wait.
